On September 5th and September 30th dozens of shortlisted TEDxAmsterdam Award applicants gathered at the gorgeous VondelCS setting for a couple of energizing Award workshops. Experts, consultants, scientists and lawyers from TEDx partners Clifford Chance, ING, Essent and Deloitte joined forces with amazing Pitch coaches Michael Koenka, David Beckett and Tara Philips to question, sharpen, encourage, connect and appreciate an amazing set of Ideas worth Doing. New Power was the theme, and New Power was what emerged!

It was an honour and a pleasure to work with some of the world’s most innovative and inspiring ideas. Paving the way for clean energy and renewable fuels to further the conversation around sustainability and conservation.

You can only imagine how proud I was to hear that one of the finalists I had the pleasure of meeting, and coaching, made it to the finals and won this year’s TEDx Amsterdam Awards competition – way to go Mo, well done!

Always a pleasure to work with some amazing people, and I would be remiss if I didn’t also congratulate David Beckett and Tara Philips for helping the participants pitch at a level far beyond anyone could imagine. And most specifically to Tara for helping put on one of the most exciting and well-organized show I have ever had the pleasure and honour to be a part of. Kudos guys!
